Consent & disclosure

Honest by design: every agent says it is an AI

Scout Team

Trust starts in the first ten seconds

A candidate who finds out halfway through a call that they were talking to software feels misled, and says so. Scout agents are upfront from the first sentence, so candidates choose to take part knowing what the call is.

What every call does

  • Says it is an AI, in the opening of the call.
  • Asks whether it may record the call. If the candidate says no, the recording is deleted when the call ends and only the written transcript is kept.
  • Asks your questions and collects answers; it never rejects a candidate.
  • Leaves every decision about who moves forward to your recruiters.

Built in, not optional

The disclosure is part of every agent, and so is the recording question whenever your workspace records calls, whether it is ready-made, built in Agent Studio or edited by hand. Customising an agent changes what it asks, not whether it tells the candidate what it is.

People stay in charge

Scores and flags help recruiters sort a long list, but they are not verdicts. Every note links back to what the candidate actually said, so a person can check the evidence before deciding anything.

Conclusion

Candidates are more open with an agent that is honest about what it is. Disclosure and consent on every call are what make AI screening something candidates can accept.
