Connect Breezy HR
Scout connects to Breezy HR with an API key you create in your own Breezy settings. Scout finds your company from the key. It pulls jobs, pipeline stages, candidates and resumes, and can write screening results back as notes.
Before you start
- You’re a Scout admin.
- You can open My Settings → API Keys in Breezy HR.
What you’ll need#
An API key from Breezy HR.
Get your credentials from Breezy HR#
In Breezy HR, click your user icon, then My Settings → API Keys.
Choose Create API Key and copy it.
Connect in Scout#
Open Integrations, then click Connect beside Breezy HR.
Paste the key into API key.
Leave Company ID (optional) blank.
- Scout finds the company from your key. You only need it if your key has access to more than one Breezy company.
Check the Label and Region.
- Label: a name for this connection. It starts as the ATS’s own name.
- Region: the country Scout assumes for a candidate’s phone number when the number has no country code of its own.
Click Connect Breezy HR.
ResultBreezy HR appears under Your connections as Syncing, and its jobs start arriving in Jobs.
What syncs#
Jobs, pipeline stages, candidates and resumes. Candidates and resumes come in for the jobs you assign to a workflow. See How syncing works.
Write-back#
Screening results go back as a note. Breezy HR also takes every other destination the ATS write back dialog offers: Assessment, Scorecard, Tags, Custom fields and Document. Each update to the assessment replaces Scout’s last one. See Write results back to your ATS.
