Connect Zoho Recruit
Zoho Recruit connects through a Zoho sign-in: you approve Scout in Zoho, and Zoho sends you back. Scout never sees your Zoho password, and no keys need copying by hand. Today it pulls jobs and pipeline stages.
Before you start
- You’re a Scout admin.
- You can sign in to Zoho with a user that has Zoho Recruit access.
What you’ll need#
A Zoho sign-in: a Zoho user with access to Zoho Recruit.
Connect in Scout#
Open Integrations, then click Connect beside Zoho Recruit.
Check the Label and Region.
- Label: a name for this connection. It starts as the ATS’s own name.
- Region: the country Scout assumes for a candidate’s phone number when the number has no country code of its own.
Click Connect with Zoho Recruit.
ResultYour browser goes to Zoho.
Sign in with your Recruit account and approve Scout’s access.
ResultZoho sends you back to Integrations, which says Zoho Recruit is connected. Jobs will appear as they sync.
If it didn’t connect#

| The authorization was cancelled in Zoho, so nothing was connected. | Start again and approve access in Zoho. |
| That authorization link had expired. Start the connection again. | Click Connect again. |
| Zoho authorized Scout, but the account could not read job openings… | Check that your Zoho user has Recruit access, then try again. |
| A connection with that label already exists… | Use a different Label, or disconnect the existing connection first. |
What syncs#
Jobs and pipeline stages. Candidate sync is not available yet: the console marks candidates as coming soon. See How syncing works.
Reconnect or disconnect#
- To renew access, use Update credentials in the connection’s ⋯ menu, then Reconnect with Zoho Recruit, and sign in again. Sign in with the same Zoho account the connection was created with; a different account is refused.
- When you disconnect Zoho Recruit, Scout also gives up the access you approved in Zoho, as well as deleting what it synced. See Disconnect an ATS.
Write-back#
Zoho Recruit takes write-back as a note on the candidate, set up in ATS write back. It needs Zoho Recruit candidates in Scout, so it applies once candidate sync is available. See Write results back to your ATS.
