Connect Recruitee
Scout connects to Recruitee with your company ID and a personal API token, both from the same Recruitee settings page. It pulls jobs, pipeline stages, candidates and resumes, and can write screening results back as notes.
Before you start
- You’re a Scout admin.
- You can open Settings → Apps and plugins → API Tokens in Recruitee.
What you’ll need#
Company ID + API token.
Get your credentials from Recruitee#
In Recruitee, open Settings → Apps and plugins → API Tokens.
Create a new token and copy it.
Copy the company ID shown on the same page.
Connect in Scout#
Open Integrations, then click Connect beside Recruitee.
Enter the company ID in Company ID and paste the token into API token.
- Company ID takes the numeric company ID from the API Tokens page, or your account’s subdomain.
Check the Label and Region.
- Label: a name for this connection. It starts as the ATS’s own name.
- Region: the country Scout assumes for a candidate’s phone number when the number has no country code of its own.
Click Connect Recruitee.
ResultRecruitee appears under Your connections as Syncing, and its jobs start arriving in Jobs.
What syncs#
Jobs, pipeline stages, candidates and resumes. Candidates and resumes come in for the jobs you assign to a workflow. See How syncing works.
Write-back#
Screening results go back as a note on the candidate. For Recruitee you can also send:
- Scorecard: added as a Recruitee evaluation by the API token’s user. A changed score adds a new one.
- Tags: Scout’s own “Scout:” tags. Other tags are left as they are.
- Custom fields: candidate fields named “Scout score”, “Scout band” and “Scout screening answers”. Scout never creates these fields; a missing one is skipped.
- Document: the call summary and transcript as a text file, attached to the candidate rather than to one job.
